Tat Soi and Pomegranate: Week of December 12th

This week’s box was so gorgeous and abundant, I had to take a picture!

Week 8 Box Contents

Tat Soi (that’s the glorious dark green bunch behind the eggs on the right)
Pink Lady Apples
Spinach (in the bowl at the back)
Satsuma Mandarins
Arugula (almost hidden behind the carrots)
Napa Cabbage (hiding behind the lettuce)
Nantes Carrots (gorgeous! although one arrived broken and another has a big worm hole)
Tadorna Leeks

Ooh, don’t take this the wrong way, but today I am coveting your box!! 🙂

Are Nantes carrots the deep reddish ones? Or all of them, and there are just different colors of them? It’s funny, I was just meaning to write to you about multicolored carrots, because I made a curry from a bag of white, orange, and red ones I bought at Trader Joe’s the other day.

It is a lovely box, is it not?

I’m not sure what makes them particularly Nantes carrots. They look pretty basic orange to me.

Curry with multicolored carrots sounds fabulous!
